Luke is qualified by experience in the most literal sense: thirteen years in warehousing, up to middle management, before moving into recruitment four years ago. He knows what the right hire means to an operation because he has stood where his clients stand.

At Loom he covers logistics and supply chain operations roles across the Midlands, with a focus on the sub £50k white collar market, running the full recruitment lifecycle himself. The approach is consultative, built on trust and transparency with both sides. He would rather understand a brief properly than send a CV quickly.

Outside work Luke sprints for Great Britain in the Masters V40 category, ranked at world, European and national level from 60m to 400m. A new project to get quick over 5km and 10km is proving humbling, and he manages his son's under-7s football team, which he admits is harder than both.
