1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of the Loom Talent website. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. The site is operated by Loom Talent Ltd (company number 14937917), a recruitment business based in Nottingham. Registered office: Suite L210, Landmark Business Centre, Tudor Square, West Bridgford, Nottingham NG2 6BT.

These are website terms of use only. They do not create a recruitment contract. Terms of business for client engagements, and any terms that apply to a placement, are agreed separately in writing.

2. Using the site

You may use the site for lawful purposes connected with finding work, hiring, or learning about our services. You must not:

  • use the site in any way that breaks the law or infringes anyone else's rights;
  • submit false, misleading or fraudulent information, including in CVs, applications or vacancies;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, other users' accounts, or the systems behind the site;
  • scrape, harvest or bulk download content or personal data from the site;
  • introduce viruses or other malicious code, or do anything that would impair the site's operation.

3. Accounts

Parts of the site let you create a candidate account. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for activity under your account. Give us accurate information and keep it up to date. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

4. Applications and CV submissions

Applying for a role or submitting a CV through the site is not a guarantee of an interview, an introduction, or employment. Roles are advertised in good faith on behalf of clients and may be changed or withdrawn at any time. Any offer of employment is made by the employer, not by us. How we handle the personal data you submit is described in our privacy policy.

5. Vacancies from employers

Submitting a vacancy through the site is an invitation for us to get in touch, not an instruction we have accepted. No fee is due and no engagement exists until terms of business have been agreed in writing. Introductions of candidates are made under those terms of business.

6. Content on the site

Content on the site, including salary information, survey data, market commentary and resources, is provided for general information only. It is not professional advice and should not be relied on as the basis for hiring, career or financial decisions. We work to keep content accurate and current, but we make no guarantee that it is complete or up to date.

7. Intellectual property

The site and its content, including text, design, graphics, logos and downloadable resources, are owned by or licensed to Loom Talent Ltd and protected by intellectual property laws. You may view, download and print content for your own personal or internal business use. You must not otherwise copy, republish or commercially exploit it without our written permission. The Loom Talent name and logo may not be used without our consent.

9. Availability and liability

The site is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee that it will be available, uninterrupted or error free. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for loss or damage arising from use of, or inability to use, the site, including loss of profit, business or opportunity. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Changes to the site and these terms

We may update, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time. We may also change these terms; the date at the top shows when they were last updated. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from use of the site.
