Lis joined Loom in July 2025 with more than thirty years supporting specialist recruitment consultancies across Yorkshire and the Midlands. She keeps the offices running, supporting Matthew and the whole team, and after three decades in recruitment support there is very little she has not already seen and sorted.

The job, as Lis runs it, is making sure everything behind the scenes works so the consultants can stay focused on their clients and candidates. She is known for her positivity and for seeing the best in absolutely everyone she meets.

Lis lives in Derbyshire with her husband Richard and spends much of her time with family in Sheffield, her home city. She is also a singer, performing locally and internationally, and her proudest moment on stage was a solo at the Royal Albert Hall. Not many opera singers work in recruitment.
