Emily Applin.

Originally from London, Emily relocated to Nottingham after making the move away from ‘city life’. She studied Psychology with Criminology at university, with an initial ambition to pursue a career in Criminal Psychology. However, after three years of studying (and one very long dissertation!), she was ready to step into the world of work and fell in love with Recruitment & HR.

Emily brings seven years of experience across HR and recruitment, having worked across a range of industries including agency recruitment, shipping & logistics and retail, with her core focus on junior to middle management HR roles UK wide.

Having worked first hand in HR roles, she brings a strong understanding of the challenges and requirements businesses face when it comes to finding and retaining the right talent. This experience enables her to work across a diverse range of industries, while partnering closely with our specialist consultants to provide a collaborative approach and deliver positive results for both clients and candidates.

Outside of work, Emily is definitely someone who likes to keep busy! She’s a big fitness enthusiast and spends a lot of her time at the gym, training six days a week. She also attends gymnastics and run club each week, and is always looking for the next half marathon to sign up for. So, safe to say she’s rarely sitting still!
